It was a 3-Day Festival, and was also a celebration of our 2-year anniversary.

JANUARY JAUNT SKYDER FREM I USA!
Strange Ears kunne tidligere berette at man havde indgået aftale med HipVideo (Placebo, Korn, Morrisey, M.Fl.)
om en udgivelse af musikvideoen til January Jaunts første single "Try".
Nu viser det sig at det har båret frugt i stor stil.
Udgivelsen vil løbe over de næste par måneder, men på kun to uger har January Jaunt slået igennem lydbilledet over hele USA.
"Try" vises nu på musikvideokanaler landet over, og er desuden nomineret til "Top Artist of the week" sideløbende med store internationale navne.

STRANGE EARS SIGNS WITH SONET & UNIVERSAL
Strange Ears, som igennem de sidste par år, har forsøgt at sætte undergrundsmusikken på dagsordenen, og agere som alternativ til det etablerede, har fået vind i sejlene.
Derfor kan Strange Ears nu offentligtgøre at underskrifterne er sat på kontrakten som sætter et samarbejde igang imellem det historie danske selskab Sonet og selveste Universal.
I Første omgang kommer samarbejdet til at omfatte udgivelsen af danske "Emily & The Orgasm Addicts" hvor Sonet og Universal bliver ansvarlige for PR, Markedsføring og Distribution. Alle parter forventer et massivt gennembrud.
"Det er en stor dag for os, at kunne offentliggøre et sådant samarbejde. Det bekræfter hvad vi hele tiden har ment. Nemlig at den selvstændige undergrund har kæmpepotentiale, og det er fantastisk for os at de etablerede kan se dette, og ønsker at arbejde med os og orkesteret på de præmiser vi har. Der er enighed hos os alle om at dette band kan blive det helt store - ikke mindst fordi de har deres egen tilgang til musikken, og spiller udeukkende for musikkens skyld og laver lige præcis hvad de har lyst til" siger Steffen Rasmussen fra Strange Ears.
Aftalen omfatter således debutalbummet som udkommer d. 20 Oktober, samt en digital udgivelse på den hypede "Vagina EP".
Førstesinglen "A Cheaper Kind of Love" fra den kommende plade, udkommer således i September.
Emily & The Orgasm Addicts har denne uge, spillet ikke mindre end tre jobs på den internationale branchemesse "London Calling 2007" i London.
Oprindeligt var det meningen at bandet skulle spillet en job, og en akkustisk showcase, men grundet efterspørgselen blev bandet tilbudt tre regulære jobs, foran delegerede fra hele verden.

Aftalen omfatter således debutalbummet som udkommer d. 20 Oktober, samt en digital udgivelse på den hypede "Vagina EP".
Førstesinglen "A Cheaper Kind of Love" fra den kommende plade, udkommer således i September.
Emily & The Orgasm Addicts har denne uge, spillet ikke mindre end tre jobs på den internationale branchemesse "London Calling 2007" i London.
Oprindeligt var det meningen at bandet skulle spillet en job, og en akkustisk showcase, men grundet efterspørgselen blev bandet tilbudt tre regulære jobs, foran delegerede fra hele verden.
